On a personal note, I am the kind of wedding photographer who immerses herself into your day to ensure all runs smoothly before the ceremony, during, and afterwards to make sure you get to your reception quickly.  I take every photo with the TLC I would expect myself. 
 
In 1999, I became enthralled with wedding photography and decided to take it from a sideline hobby to a full life passion… The idea (and privilege) of being able to be ‘caught up’ in someone’s love story or fairytale was where I wanted to be!!  A few years later, I decided to expand my business beyond the Northwest Ohio and Southeastern Michigan areas, to fill a need for exquisite and affordable wedding photography nationwide. From there my business has expanded to include destination wedding photography as well as extreme sports photography.

Over the years, I have hired a few associate photographers to help in my business growth and to help tag-team my adventures.  However you can be assured that I will always oversee the work and will be in charge of ensuring that the memories of your special day are captured to perfection. My work has been featured in nationally published magazines for both wedding and adventure photography.

I have been a professional photographer for 8+ years, serving America's finest on and off the stage (I photographed national rock bands for a few years as well). 

I graduated from Lourdes College with a Bachelors Degree (BIS) and have spent numerous years attending photography workshops (to stay current), and working along side some of the world’s very best.  I am also a proud member of the PPA (Professional Photographers of America) in an effort to always be learning and staying current in my field.

The enthusiasm I have for your wedding is like no other!
I am youthful, daring, optimistic, smiley, and zealous in everything I do.  So rest assured, when you hire me - I may do some of the typical (family poses) - but more often, I go above and beyond what you see and want… Whether it be the poses, style, or inventiveness of my imagination. 

I strive to create new styles and poses every in event I photograph.  Each photograph I take is different.  I continue to use different shutter speeds, f-stops, angles, cropping, and lighting techniques in order to create the right atmosphere for your lifetime portrait.

Also, I pride myself on my superior customer service.  Always making sure my response time via e-mail/phone is ~1-2 hours (unless I am out photographing) and my turn-around time for proofs and finished products is ~ 1 week after the event or ordering. 

Attention to detail/helpfulness are very important characteristics I uphold everyday.  Whether it means playing your wedding coordinator/organizer for you to keep everyone on task, or fixing your bouquet or pinning up your train, I am prepared to be there to make everything run flawlessly!

I even come equipped (at every event) with a ‘Survival Kit’ which contains items we all need sometimes like hair spray, pain-reliever, antacid, clear nail polish/remover, bobby pins, sewing kit, scissors, safety-pins, earring backs etc… 

I have dealt with all sorts of issues throughout the hundreds of weddings I have photographed (locally and destination wise) so I am confident that I will be a fabulous addition to making your day ideal with unforgettable photos to match!!
